DESCRIPTION OF BIRD PARK TYCOON

Bird Park Tycoon is a fully playable ‘tycoon’ game written in Visual Basic 5.0. The concept of the game is like similarly named titles such as Zoo Tycoon and Rollercoaster Tycoon. Basically you build a bird park, designing cages, adding over a dozen types of bird, laying out the park and keeping your guests happy.

You can download it just to play or for the source code. Those interested in the technical side, it uses a 2D isometric engine and the BitBlt function to draw the graphics. Tiles are held in an array and are selected by converting the mouse coordinates by linear programming.
